Although it bombed, i love her rendition of "How do i live?". She seems the most fit of her season to be the American Idol... enough rock and country. I thought she was oustanding... they just didn't give her enough credit. In any other year i believe she was better then pretty much everyone else. Fav performance: I've liked all of them.... Vonzell wowed me more than a few times, though. I would still be interested in who wins, if Vonzell hadn't been voted off. I think she tends to sound like the people whose songs she is singing, but I also think that she is young and perhaps has just not had time to develop her own style yet. She is energetic, delightful to watch and very very enjoyable to listen to. Her only weakness is singing songs with "soft" parts--especially ballads and her first song in the last two weeks of the competition. I think some of that was nervousness. She is one of the prettiest, most dynamic, personable Idol contestants. Has the best smile I have ever seen. Wonderful stage presence and looks like she is really at ease with a microphone. From the start, I loved her rich voice which has such control thru her runs and amazing power. The power ballad was created for people like Vonzell to sing. Other than being the most talented singer, she has fantastic stage presence. I've never once been bored with a Vonzell performance- she showcases charisma, liveliness, and a great sense of humor. She can dance, is very expressive with her face, and has an infectious smile. She's a beautiful girl who is, to me, clearly the most talented of the group. I think the reason the judges didn't rally around her like they did around Bo and Carrie is because we just had Fantasia as our last idol and Ruben was right before that- they don't want Idol to become an R&B contest, and Bo and Carrie offer different genres. I also like those contestants, but to me, it's obvious that Vonzell takes the cake in any contest based on talent and potential. She's the best among the top twelve. To sing difficult and tough songs like the way Vonzell does is not a joke, truly amazing and excellent. However on this final competition, she has to choose a very challinging song for her to topple down her competitors. In fact, a lot of voters for BO and Carrie and I believe that even they are not as great as Vonzell, they would have the chance to win. So Vonzell has to sing better than her last performance.
