I felt that he was a little above average; enjoyable, nice guy, pleasant personality, GREAT clothes, but nothing really 'knock me out' special. Nikko has a good voice for the pop/hip-hop sound, he knows his strengths and he focused on his comfort zone. I don't think he was versatile, or especially creative, He did have a tendency to go a bit thin in tone in his higher register, and he had some pitch bobbles. His look was excellent, but I would have liked to have seen his eyes more, either ditch the glasses or the pulled-down hats. They swelled and had real dynamics in them, as opposed to others who just try to power their way thru the entire song. Brilliant performances there in the early rounds. However, I didn't like some of his song selections later in the competition, and though I definitely didn't think he had to go when he did, I wasn't outraged or anything. He's a good singer and performer and I hope that he gets picked up by a recording company somewhere. He needs to have more personality- he's so soft-spoken it was hard to fully rally behind him.
