I honestly thought her audition was one of the joke ones. A grating voice, a grating personality, with no control over either. Her flirting with Simon was ikky, her song choices were bizarre. At times, she was like a cabaret-act, doing Barbra Streisand. Her performance of "Somewhere" from West Side Story (No, it's not originally a Barbra Streisand song), was one of the worst I have ever seen. And I don't buy her "I can say anything because I'm so cute and precocious routine". I'd rather hear Fran Drescher sing. Mercifully, she left the competition early.
