Having said that. She does have the voice talent to make a good career, but unfortunately we live in a workd where looks are important and although she has a cute face and a beautiful smile...is this enough now a day! Will talent bring the most success? In a perfect, tolerant world it would, but let's get real. Add the Idol PR and money machine and you will see the image they want to sell and those four didn't win the lottery. Sorry, Carrie. I loved Band of Gold, Where the Boys Are and New York State of Mind. Kimberly has a nice combination of a smooth and powerful voice. Although she did have a couple of blah performances, I think overall, she was excellent. Since she signed with another record company, Kimberley did not suffer the fate of underfunding for radio promotion that the other Idol non-winners suffered. Her record company spent big bucks, getting her airplay and so she did get her time on the charts. You can't even compare the quality of how Tamyra and Kelly does it. Those two are just "opening up / going full throttle" in their little piece performances.
