Unfortnately, he does not have the range to have made it far on AI 5. Still, the overall package was much better than some who are left. Oh my.... You can see this in his treatment towards the other contestants. He has consistantly picked the right songs for his rang and has done well each time. His voice has that gravely tone that makes him unique from the rest of the group. He does need to be less laid back and have more of an energetic stag presence. Above all else Bucky has the sweetest smile that just makes me melt. Gotta love Bucky.... Love Bucky's Voice Apr 06, 2006 09:38 AM ET Reviewed by: CONlady I am not a country music fan, but I do enjoy some of the good-time songs by Garth, McGraw, etc. When Bucky sings country, I love the tone and quality of his vocals. He seems to be a sincere person and I am glad to see him make it this far in the competition. Sure, he's not the best singer, but he certainly appeals to a certain audience, which means he is marketable. I think there are some really great vocalist on the show this year. Chris is my favorite. I love Taylor and Elliott, too. I'm not a big Pickler fan, but she is cute and can sing. Reminds me of Barbara Mandrell. I really like her voice...just hate the whole dumb blonde thing.
