(I just had to rate Anwar because idiot Clay fans don't know what a clean tone is.) 'Voice Range:' He can go high but can't sing low. 'Voice Power:' He has decent power. 'Voice Control:' Good control. 'Emotes with Feeling:' Not exactly the "feeling" type of emoting but more the "heart" type. So while his "heart" type of emoting came out in "What's going on?" he really does need the "feeling" type of emoting when singing "I believe I can fly." 'Sings with pizzazz, flair, & energy:' He's ok, not great but not bad. 'Own style and originality:' Yeah some of his performance were very original, but others not as (like others) 'Stage Presence:' He had decent stage presence, but not totally. 'Appeal, charm, or charisma:' Decent appeal - he's a nice guy. 'Physically Attractive:' Ok I guess - looks sort of like Milli Vanilli 'Most outstanding performances:' I give him an 8. The last couple of weeks before he was voted off, I think he gave his most impressive performances. His smile and voice were winners and I liked his backstory. Anwar's voice was captivating...all the gals around the watercooler thought he was fascinating and handsome. Maybe he was a little shy on stage at first and it hindered his initial performances, but I think he was coming on strong and hated to see him voted off so early. A young man stepped onstage, I raised my head up from the paper I was reading between singers, because the voice that I heard was commanding me to. I could do nothing more. I stopped, and listened. To Moon River. A song that he sang with such emotion, and convection making the song his own, as he sang the last few keys I exhaled realizing that I had held my breath throughout the ending of his song. His singing was hypnotic. I was hooked on Anwar's vocals from that moment on. Yes. He just gets better and better with each presentation, song and stage presence. He is great singer and performer, and very likable. I think his best performance based on vocals was "What A Wonderful World" and on performance was "September". He did do well on the AI small stage and he would sound sensational in "MTV Unplugged" stage. Anwar will put out some sensational CD's given that his voice tone is so pure, so clear, and so clean. A voice so soothing does not belong in competition, it belongs selling records. That's where Anwar Robinson will beat out all other Idol contestants and win. I make the distinction between competition / performance and record sales. Anwar will be more of a record seller. Noone comes close because he did it in a way that was original. Carrie Underwood comes second in terms of performance with her copycat rendition of "Alone" by Ann Wilson of Heart. The difference between Anwar's great performance and Carrie's great performance is that Anwar can sell million copies of his rendition while Carrie cannot because her version is already being sold at stores.
